In past years, Spring Sing has garnered attention from highly acclaimed singer/songwriters, actors, media personalities and industry professionals. These celebrity judges determine the winners of each category and decide who takes home the award for best overall. Transitioning online meant each act encountered entirely unprecedented rehearsal methods, and had access to different resources with which they could capture and produce their work. So, in lieu of choosing a “winner”, the Judges and Awards Directors decided to alter this year’s celebrity engagement to be even more meaningful.

This year, celebrity mentors donated their time and energy, giving personalized feedback and advice to the entire Spring Sing team. From one-on-one Zoom calls with talent and company members to encouraging video messages, our celebrity mentors have helped develop Spring Sing 2020, nurturing a more supportive environment for these student artists that focuses on unity through the arts and emphasizes the importance of collaboration.
