We Booked Prom in the Living Room

COVID-19 has affected everyone. Some changes have been drastic, like losing all sources of income. Others, in comparison, have been smaller, like having Senior Ball cancelled. However, these little things we often have the power to change, and we shouldn't let those opportunities go. My cousin is a senior in high school. Her Senior Ball is postponed until the end of June but that is only in the slim chance that things clear up by then. She deserves her full senior year experience. So I gathered my family, we planned, and together we threw her a Senior Ball of her dreams, in my living room. In times like this, when a lot is out of our control, it is important to pounce on the things we can control. And, more than ever, to think of others and show them you care.
